I work at a ford dealer in NS ad install a few lifts there. We use RC 571 kit. It's a good kit levels the truck out nicely. We mainly run 33" tires but have put 34's on one. The RC doesn't seem to cause as much problems as some of the other kits I've seen. Too tall will tear up front end parts fast. FYI I ran 34's on stock 20's on my 10 XTR with no issues.

spacers are bad news... just think about it! lets compress the spring and remove the sweet spot... even icons, foxs, etc.. have negative effects.
ive run them all on my 2013 f150 and the best is just a bilstein hd yellow.

flame away..... but ive spent thousands to find stock springs and bilstein hd's are the best ride.

The same part number won't fit both a 2013 and a 2014. The bottom mount is different. Ford switch to more of a 'T' style bracket on the bottom with a bolt on each side, that is my understanding. Last I heard, Bilstein had not release a 5100 ride height for the 2014 application.

that is 100% correct ... nobody, and I mean nobody, is running Bilstien RHA 5100's on a '14 unless they modified them or modified their LCA.

Don't believe everything you see on the Internet. Those do not fit the 2014. Bilstein has not yet come out with a lower mount for the 2014. The only manufacturers that make the 2014 that we know about are: F150Lifts, Icon, and Fox. In order to work it must have a lower mount like our Boss Coilovers do:

Here they are on our website:

It's very simple all you have to do is press them out a swap the lower bushing a 30 min job at the most I am running the RHA 5100's on my 2014 FX4

I am coming up on 40k on my 2012. Apparently you and I are very lucky risking life and limb every time we go near our trucks.

I have the BDS 2.5" on mine (installed at 500mi on the odo) which is a combination of "Strut Extension" & "Spring Pre-load"... apparently the worst of the worst! The irony is that at the time I bought it, it was considered to be the best option... but now, according to the interwebs, my truck is destined to burst into flames at any moment. My ball joints should be shot, my cv joints should be toast, and my front end is "strained" (whatever that means).

The reality is, my truck has towed multiple loaded trailers south across the country, the 4x4 has been used on numerous occasions including daily through a northeastern winter... It has done all the typical suburban homeowner trips from Home Depot, hauling dirt/lumber for little DIY projects... hauled the family everywhere - trips, vacations, everything... and the steering/front end is as tight and precise as it felt the day I installed it. The 305/55R20s on it I have never even bothered to rotate because everything is wearing evenly. (measured every 5k - only ever needed to adjust inflation pressures) It is only just recently that I have begun to consider it because the tires are just now beginning to show signs of needing it.

I'm inclined to agree that the only significant benefit to the RHA options are adjustability and perhaps ride quality... though I have no complaints with mine.

Just posting my personal experiences.
