Default Just Couldn't Pull the Trigger

I just left our local ford dealer. Had a deal made to trade my 45k miles silver 10 XL reg cab short bed 2wd 4.6L - 4 speed auto for a new red 13, same except for 5.0L and 6 speed.

Test drove one like the prospective trade but 4wd. Great fun with 100 horse + more power and 6 speed with manual over ride.

I just couldn't go through with it. Guess I figured the thrill of the 5.0 would wear off with time but the extra money would still be gone. Besides the 10 is like new and barely broke in.

Sorta like buyer's remorse before the buy, lol.

This ever happen to any others on here?

Ive experienced buyers remorse with every single vehicle ive ever bought except for my first (02' dodge dakota) and my current vehicle(07 f150). Had a 2010 dodge challenger and a 2011 toyota tacoma. Great vehicles but regretted buying them.

But on the plus side, My credit is outstanding for a 21 year old from buying and then selling these vehicles. lol.

I thought I might miss my BMW (2004 530i 6-spd manual) that I traded in on my FX4, but to be completely honest, I rarely think of it. Quite surprising to me, actually.

But yes, I love the truck that much. Very, very pleased so far!

You did the right thing. If not having the latest doesn't thrill you beyond the monthly payments of a new one, don't do it. You still have a current gen truck.

I almost traded my 10 for a 13 but I bought a 5th wheel camper instead. Not really a fan of the 3.5 or the 5.0, I'd take a 6.2 next time I think, or a 6.7 diesel maybe.
