Default junction box hook up

I have a 2011 ford F-150, i'm away from home half the month working. Our work truck have a junction box hooked up for a battery tender and a block heater ( plus more) since I work in one of the coldest places in the world lol.
Im looking to hook one up in my truck also and im just trying to see if anyone else has done this.

I've talked to our shop up here and the recomended not splicing the wires and to make a junction box set up like we have at work. I cant find any videos on youtube of it, so if anyones done it and has pictures or a video please post it here.

I think I know what you mean. Have the tender and block heater connected under the hood and just a cord at the grill to plug into which would power both things. Can you get a picture of the work truck or talk to the mechanic about it.

That's not going to help. The power comes from outside the truck in this case.

I don't have either on my truck. Just trying to help. I think you are trying to bring 120 volt power into your truck from an extension cord to a main box. Then from there power your tender and a block heater. That type of set up would (should) be water tight fittings and box etc. You might want to talk to a local electrician or electrical supply house to get it set up properly and safely. I don't think it would be too expensive. Good luck. Tim.
