2013 F150 Fuel Problem
My 2013 F150 5.0 has recently been giving me a low fuel reading on startup, even when I know it's not low. After driving a short distance, it corrects itself. Then, this morning I started it up and left it to idle a few minutes to heat up. When I came out, it was dead. Battery's good and it cranked, but no start. I know there's gas but just to be sure, I put in a couple gallons. Still no dice. This seems like it could be a pump issue, but not if it's related to the original problem. Could a sending unit cause both problems?
Level is probably sending unit.
No start may be bad pump or more common relay fuse: Check Fuse 27 in the panel under the hood see if #27 melted. Don't just look at it, physically pull it out of the panel and inspect it. If it's fried order and install Ford kit: EL3T-14293-AA.
When they go they FRY: this little bugger left me stranded for 20 minutes but eventually made enough contact to start the truck and get me home,

Do you have an incline in your laneway that you reverse into? So your nose is down. I do, and my laneway is only a slight incline but will show fuel level of more than a quarter tank lower than it actually is on start up, so I treat my 1/4 tank as empty for refueling purposes. After about 5 mins of driving the gauge goes back up and shows the correct level.
