Default It's Raining

Managed to make it home tonight despite the idiots that spun out in front of me. Saw 4 different cars and one truck spun out, facing wrong way and hitting middle guard rails. My wife just said, look it's on the news, are they crazy? Can we not drive in anything besides perfect sunny weather? The rest of the country will be laughing their asses off at us!

I agree 100 percent. We had a little rain, whoop-dee-fing- doo.

Thank God those people don't drive up here in the snow or freezing rain or black ice.

I always use the rain as an excuse for "unexpected drifts"

You Californians and your rain..It's like a really bad winter day for us.

Imagine how terrible it'd be if they lived here..

If it has not rained in your area for a month or more, then this may have happened.

The first few minutes after the rain starts, oil is brought up out of the road, and that makes it like black ice. The more rain the better, that washes the oil to the side of the road. The light rain is the killer, just enough to bring up the oil, not enough to wash it away.

What makes me so smart?

Because we get so little rain here in Vegas, the news stations here actually warn everyone about that when rain is predicted. Of course, everyone does not hear this, so we still have our share of "slick road" fender benders.

Even Washington State has this problem.

We get all that...Common knowledge forever. But come on these people here drive the exact same way when the first rain comes as they do all the time, which is like lunatics. I personally resent having to avoid these "drivers" so I can maybe get home alive from my job. It's just.......insane is the only way I can put it. Be careful out there.
