Shoot, here in the Seattle area that's not the problem. It rains all the time and people still drive like idiots. But hey, when the sun comes out, the same thing happens. Folks forget how to drive. Snow? I'll leave it up to your imagination, but it ain't pretty. If you don't have much of an imagination check out some of the videos on YouTube.

 

Imagine these people in the snow... Oh wait, i deal with FOB Asians every winter who literally gawk at snow because they've never seen it before. Them driving in the snow truly scares the hell out of me.

Yep, it was stupid ugly in CC County this morning.

A good competency test will eliminate traffic jambs, and a larger CHP force will remove more morons.

"We" just have to steer clear of 'em all.

 

I hear yah man, had to go on 4 calls involving vehicle collisions within the first hour of rain... And that's one little section near the beach we were covering.

its raining here in Dubai at the minute and believe me i fully understand where you are coming from, just yesterday 10 car pile up then 100 yards up the road another 4 car smash
i live with lunatics every day who just refuse to change their driving habits when it rains, if we had snow here there would be carnage.
i am finished for the weekend so no driving for me until Sunday morning, it should have all gone by then, the rain that is.

Yep, South Bay but was travelling from Livermore. I cannot imagine Hwy 4 through Pitts/Antioch in the rain these days. Arghhh!,

 

Be careful if you need to go out. It's really sad, the innocent ones that try to drive with caution getting caught up in that stuff. Stay safe over there!
