I've got some relatives that farm in Eastern Washington that told us stories about people just parking their cars on the road when it snows there

I'm not sure if you're serious or sarcastic. Black ice is very real and some sketchy stuff.

Black ice is as real as the air we breath and just as hard to see. Ive never seen the bottom of the ocean but it's real too :-).

I'm in central CC Co. I *hate* going over the hill to "Gun Point", Pittsburg and Antioch. Highway 4 backs up all the way to 680! I'm just glad I don't have to commute anymore...

I lived in Northern New Mexico (Los Alamos) when I was learning to drive. 7500ft elev. with snow and mountain roads. If you don't learn to drive in the snow there, you basically don't drive from November thru March. But people here in California are absolutely clueless about driving in pretty much ANY kind of "weather". Shoot, they have trouble when it's warm, clear and dry outside!!!

I grew up in the winter time snowy hills of PA, got my liscense and drove through all the witner conditions, then i moved to Phoenix, AZ for college. Holy hell if it rained, shut the state down, 5 mph, people pulled over and stopped, 4-ways flashing. I couldnt believe it. I know what you guys mean, if they saw snow they'd **** a brick.

I'm in Ohio and I'm used to the many weather seasons too. I was in AZ on business and the cab driver was from PA. We talked about the weather, and he told nearly the identical story as you did about drivers there when it rains. He said it is so bad, he calls off work on rainy days so he doesn't have to put up with all the idiots who can't drive.

Been raining all day here in Vegas. The streets get slicker than snot due to all the oil from peoples hoopdies. Got caught in the rain in my mustang here once. Thought i was going to die because the slightest throttle pressure made the car want to come around.

Enjoying the Vegas rain too. Loving the cooler weather. Time to take out the R/C monster truck and play in the mud.
