I think I am going to attempt to do this! After looking at all the different ones out there I'm curious how you actually power the iPad off and on with the power/lock button not accessible? I know you can set it to lock when not use but at some point you're going to need to power cycle it, how is that done?

 

I'd like to know what it and the gauges where the 4x4 and power source are.

 

Good question. All you need to do is go to Settings app and go to General and the click on the Accessibility tab and turn on "assistive touch"




Then you will see the little box pop up in the corner of the screen on the iPad you can move this around to wherever you would like. Then whenever you click on the little box you get all these functions you can use. Mostly for lock screen for me. Also you can hold the lock screen button to power down just like the physical button.

 

Question: Is Sync keeping your battery charged in the mini?
Also, how do you power down/up the unit if the need would arise?

 

There is no way it barley charges my iPhone takes 8 hours

 

i ordered my double din already, should be arriving tommorow, cant wait for it to get here so i can start working on it for my iPad, i also just ordered the home button just to give it the extra touch
