Has anyone with a 2014 F150 had issues with their lead frame?

I’m trying to think of what records transmission wise we have, I have had to pack a lot away (due to caring for my dad in home with memory issues, and his interest in going through things of the sort). I did realize though the mechanic sent my mom a picture of the cup holder with $100 play money of my 3year olds he thought was real and the bolts from the transmission drain pan filling up one cup holder, this is when he informed us the truck had no coolant which was not the case the day the wrench light came on and I parked it. I was frustrated this was being brought up at this point because we brought it to them for the transmission repair and while coolant is nobrainer obviously vital it still wasn’t the issue needing mechanic help. Now “the dealership has no interest in working on my truck and new parts are cost prohibitive”, why could this not be stated in the long communication prior to bringing the truck in? Why are they too backed up with warranty repairs only after having us tow it to them (and cranking it). This was stated in the call from them the day before them calling to say they have no interest working on the truck, and to be so busy and bogged down why are they calling everyday with a new version of they’re not touching it, mind you today was the day stated on original communication that they would be able to start checking it out and getting to work on it. I am nervous to have it picked up from dealership simply because of their persistence to suddenly have us take it to a third party mechanic and their suggestion to just sell it for parts… it seems very suspicious and sounds sort of like they are trying to alleviate a feeling of liability!?

Yeah, I would believe they're trying to eliminate any liability. As soon as the truck leaves their property they'll wash their hands of it.

I had an extremely hard shift into 3rd gear... It would actually squak tires once in a while (not like a shift kit, but more so a very quick lock up)
I had it to dealership 2 or 3 times before I researched myself and told dealer to replace lead frame which fixed it.
It's been a while now, I don't recall all the conversation with dealer, but they were basically telling me it was normal, maybe they didn't experience it or something, but it wanted to buck me through the windshield, so I find that hard to believe. lol
I think they even replaced another part or two before I got them on target.
edit: Now I recall, another symptom of mine was at any harder than normal stop, the transmission would seek around for gear.. it caused a delay being able to go from a quick stop. I did not have random shifting or anything, just those symptoms.
Also, I had no codes to speak of.
another edit: I also remember dealership did try a reprogram, which was better for a short time.

The recall is only for 2011-2013 F150s. https://www.trucks.com/2019/02/13/fo...ission-defect/
My 2014 was built 11/2013 had the same issue and not included in the recall.

Just to follow up in case anyone is interested, the P0720 code hasn't come back in almost a month. No CEL or wrench symbol, truck drives and shifts just like it should. At this point I'm pretty much convinced it was caused by the speecometer calibration the selling dealership (non-Ford dealership) made for the oversize tires, and resetting the ecu cleared whatever issue was there (knock on wood).

If I may ask - what was the cost of this? Was it done in 2020? Gotta factor in inflation. Thanks!
