Frozen windows
SO, hopped in the truck yesterday. It had rained slightly, it was windy, and down to 25 deg.
All 4 windows were frozen tight in their gaskets.
Anyone else seen this ?

Last time it snowed here in odessa my doors froze bro, and my battery died and i tried to open the door with the key and end up breaking the manual unlock lever , try pouring warm water on them

My windows on my old car use to freeze shut in the winter all the time and I just got into the habit of not even trying to open them if they had a good amount of ice on them. I am the same way with my truck, if the windows are iced up then they stay up at least till the ice melts. Not worth the potential damage to the seals IMO

Pound on the window around the bottom edges with your fist sideways, pinky edge of hand then hit the button up and down a few times while you are doing it and it usually breaks free easily. Start off light and increase force gradually and obviously don't pound so hard you break the window, but they are very strong.

I WOULD NOT pour warm water on your windows. I woman did this to her iced up windshield and it shattered. Automotive glass does not like this severe change in temperature!!
