Most LED's as DRL's aren't as effective as a regular halogen lights since typical LED's emit white light vs the yellow that halogen's produce. In the daytime the light from the halogen bulb seems to catch your eye better than an LED does. It's a bit different with an OEM LED DRL's since there is usually a row of high powered lights to catch your eye.

try holding a bright light over the sensor on the dash, my coworker used his flash on his phone and it would trigger the headlights to go off and DRL to activate, then you could see it was his signals now not the headlights anymore.

I find that bright white LED light stands out way more than any halogen bulb. the output is much brighter and stands out way more.... especially OEM, but even the aftermarket stuff is easier to see.

So, I got connected today with everything and went through all I could think of and still couldn't find where I could turn the lamp out indicator off to fix the hyper flash issue on my 2013 Platinum. I am using the paid app on my phone. Should I be using my laptop that is Bluetooth compatible?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, use your laptop. The Android app can't make changes, it can only read.

Has anybody thought about what's involved in getting the hill decent control feature to work?

Also, Can anyone else with a 2009 access the PATS menu? I was hoping to program some keys, but I can't see the menu?

Unfortunately with the '09-'10 guys that have a GEM instead of a BCM the line code is most likely different.
