I'm now trying to get the remote start menu to show up on my gauge cluster. Using the ICM/ IPC Module settings I changed 720-01-02 from my factory 5529 EC0A 20BE to 5521 6FEA 23F9 (FX4, 4x4, e-locker, brake controller) in gthdrift's spreadsheet. I was able to gain the remote start menu with that change however I lost the rear view mirror options menu under Driver Assist.
I noticed the same thing and took a screenshot. Didn't seem to mess with anything else so I'll leave it alone.

I too activated the remote start menu. I looked for any missing menus but never noticed the missing camera settings. It explains me having to reset my settings when I put everything back the way I wanted. Do share if you find anything as I want to add remote start this winter. The menus don't seem necessary as I felt there wasn't anything worth changing in there but why not have em right.

That looks just like the one I have. Probably no MS switch like the higher priced ones. I figured for the cost of a switchable one, I could mess up one or two of the cheap units adding my own switch.

I asked about the error on dtrl's earlier up. When I turned the DTRL's on on my 13, I got the same error. But not double error like you. I set mine to turn signals.

Okay, that is what I did. I get an installation failure error. I will try again later.

My uncle has a 2013 XLT EB with very similar features to what I have (trailer brakes, backup camera, e-lock, 4x4...) except he has remote start and the backup sensors. I'll take a look at his as-built to see what I can find in there.

As far as the "error" that shows up for the DTRL's, I'm not worried about it. With all my settings the way they came from the factory I get an error under my fuel tank number (I have a 36 gallon tank).

I wouldn't worry about the error either. Since it wasn't an option in IDS it will probably read as an error. I think the '13-'14 guys get an error as well. Correct me if I am wrong.

I am determined to get this Sync thing sorted out. I may have to contact the IV Ford team and try to explain to them what I am after and what I have done but I am not holding out much hope.

Can you elaborate on what you're after? I've got w/e version of Sync would come on a '12 XLT, no screen but there is a Sync badge on the lower portion of the bezel. I'm eventually going to switch it out for an aftermarket double DIN or a factory upgrade (something with an LCD screen).

My truck is originally from Alberta. I bought it used in the U.S. You may be able to confirm this but iirc my truck originally did not have Vehicle Health Report, Sync Services and Mobile apps as an option because they are or weren't available in Canada. I programmed my APIM to U.S. and now everything appears. I can use Mobile apps now and VHR and Sync Services appears. The only thing I haven't tried is a master reset after I made the APIM changes so I am going to do that next.

I went out and input the DRL data from gthrift's spreadsheet into my 2011 and I can confirm that I can activate both my ambers and fog lights as DRLs. Awesome!

What exactly did you change on your 2011 to get the fogs to work as DRL?
like what lines did you change?

Gthrift posted a spreadsheet a few posts back with the BCM line changes to enable the different DRL options.

Since what was not an option under IDS? Tank or DTRL's?

Also, we need to make sure that everyone talking here lets us know either on the left or in their signature, what year model they are working on.
