Great, I just picked mine up today with a build date of 9/13/11. Now I have to take it back for a RECALL already

The bottom line is this gentelmen. ALL and I mean ALL auto/truck makers have their problems with junk parts made in China. Ford is no better or worse than the rest.

With that said, I guess we will never have any input as to the quality that goes into the garbage we MUST buy today from ALL auto makers.

So far my 2010 F-150 I bought new with only 7800 miles on it now is running ok. I guess I'll just have to live with the slams and jerks I get once in a while when shifting but what am I going to do about it? Nothing, because Ford engineers haven't got a clue what to do about it.

Sometimes you wish you should just go buy a old Ford built in the 70's. But remember, 70's Fords were rust buckets.

Will we ever win? Nope

Is the cause of this miniscule recall due to "junk parts made in China?"

I remember bringing home my brand new 97 F-150 and the next morning I couldn't get it out of the driveway because I didn't realize you had to put your foot on the brake to get it in drive.

I just fiddled with my 11 FX4 Eco with a build date of 9-16-11 built at Kansas City. One hour and i couldnt find any problems. It only shifts out of park with the engine running and my foot on the brake. I guess that ill just have to wait and see.
