I think the moral of this whole thread is: 1) Ford's policy is a cop out and it sucks, and 2) If you have one of these puppies, make sure you have comp insurance that covers glass damage, 'cause Ford won't pony up to their screw-up!

Oh, and remember fuse # 32

I appreciate all the work you guys have done hunting this down. My '11 simply stopped working. I have the top extended warranty coverage. You all know the coverage...it's the one that cute girl in the tight dress told you "covers virtually everything on your new truck. All the high tech electronics, and the electrical, engine....everything".
And the dealership? The service lady I deal with informed the Service Manager (she told me this- twice- via email...apologizing each time...). I didn't even get a return phone call. Very, very sad.
I'm a national quality manager, and I can tell you- this is such a failure on so many levels. Those selling extended warranties are not telling you the truth (can't say they are lying). The dealerships are shrugging shoulders, which is certainly a great way to have you coming back. And Ford? Search the web and you will find 100's of cases of this occurring. By having an upgraded glass in the 13's tells you they know about it.
I paid $50 grand for my truck. $50 grand. For this?
What on earth would make me come back to buy another one?
Well, Mr. Ford Service...what?

I definitely won't be buying any Ford product ever again. I love my truck but won't support a company that doesn't stand behind their product. I was 7 weeks over the 36 month warranty with 23k miles (13k miles UNDER). If I abused it and it broke, I'd man up and take responsibility but this was just turning on the rear defrost. Pressing a button. I know how technically advanced it is but wtf? What. The. F**k.

Yea I unfortunately spent a good penny on my truck as well 55+ and I really do like it, I love the power of the eco-boost the good look of it but the fact that these guys are covering this issue up really makes me upset so I been pricing out my new GM. This was my first ford and I don't care that window broke all I ask is they step up to acknowledge their mistake and fix it, than we would be all good but nope constant lies and bullsh*t. Check out GM basic warranty and tell me who you will go with now??

The only thing that's holding it up is my window tint and that does not seem to be doing a good job because the window is still coming apart

Oh and if u look close ford cant even make a 3rd brake light right , cause my headliner is fuc***

No issues on non power sliders! But the issue hasn't been fixed for power sliders!
