I like what you did with the cover. Has anyone painted or dipped the runners, would dip hold up in the engine compartment?

Roush or American Muscle or one of the mustang parts places used to offer painted intake mani's. Not sure if they still do or not but you could buy them pre-painted to match factory exterior colors. Never saw one mounted on a car or with an engine cover over it though, so I dont know what it looks like installed.

Read most of this thread and it looks like the full build list is :

1 Mustang gt Engine cover
1 Aftermarket intake
4x Connectors Gates #28505
4x Clamps Gates #32929 (Im subbing Miniature All Stainless Worm Gear Hose Clamp, 5/16" - 7/8")
3/4" heaterhose (35" on passenger side, 37" on drivers side)
3/8" vacuum hose
Flip the vacuum line coming out of the manifold
mounting grommets (4) - part # BR3Z-9P686-A

Im buying this and will attempt the mod sometime in the near future. Hopefully its the correct stuff.

I allready did the mustang coil cover mod which was very easy, just screw in these with a socket and some pressure : http://www.ebay.com/itm/171822149638?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT or get the m6 screws like others have done, remove vacuum lines, put coil covers on, reattach vacuum lines.

I also reinstalled my SilverHorseRacing catch can. Ive had all this stuff off for a while since I went to the dealer for some warranty related issues which seem to be fine at this time so leaving it on from now on. I went from satin black on the coil covers to Ford red, both look great in my opinion. I put some clear gloss over the red. I also ordered and installed the Evaporative hose from the 2013 model up so it is not curved and sticking up like on the 2011-12 models. Its the hose with the green clip in the first pic that connects above the TB. That was fun to do from underneath especially the metal bracket that holds the hose coming up the back side of the engine. Well I'm pleased and have about another 120 bucks in this project but am very satisfied. I also cleaned my TB while I had the Air intake off. And cleaned the top of the intake runners.
Can you put the engine cover on the 2015 plus f150's

I have not looked under the hood of a 2015, but it is my understanding that the intake manifold is taller so i would say probably not, maybe the 2015 up mustang cover will work. I think the 2011-14 covers look better in my opinion. You would have to do a little research on that.

NO you can not put the cover on the 2015+ trucks.
The engine cover has dowel pins on the under side. and the intake has mounting holes with rubber inserts that these pins push into.
The 11-14 coyote, and 15+ mustang coyote intake has holes for the rubber inserts, but the 2015+ truck intake does not have these holes.

Could I put the mounting brackets onto my engine and use a 2015 plus mustang cover.
I actually like the way that they look more.

There aren't any mounting brackets. the holes are cast into the plastic manifold on the mustang and those holes are just plain not there on the F150. I have a 2016 mustang and a 2016 F150 manifold at home in my garage. If I get a chance I'll snap some pics so you can see what I am talking about.
