Issue: Cannot default the My Ford Sync system (without Navigation) to Bluetooth audio
Some users are having an issue with when they turn the ignition on their My Ford Sync system reverts to Line-In even though they were using Bluetooth audio when they turn their vehicle off. They would like to have the system revert back to Bluetooth audio instead of having to go through the menus to be able to get to Bluetooth audio or use the voice commands. A Ford customer service representative FordIVTteam actually joined in the conversation and gave the reason why Ford made this change (as it would previously revert to Bluetooth) and the best method to get back to the source they wanted.

It's just a tad off topic, but Ford's CEO was just named to the board at IBM- now IBM is really more known for our grandfathers IT company, but to say the least - it has to be a little better than Microsoft which is much younger IT company, but still can't get it right. Ford has also developed their own main interface for the '16 and Sync 3 which will let you run Car Play or Android Auto - but not til later this year, and have even sold the technology to Toyota. With all of that said, it is just sad and sick that they can't get this just half way right after having the platform for 4 or 5 years.
Yes, it's defaulted every single time, unless my iPhone is slow to connect. That issue is 100% with the phone though (iPhone 6 on whatever the newest iOS 9.x beta is) as it happened with similar frequency when I had a Pioneer H/U in my old Yukon.
No complaints here, although I can't believe the Sync lady cannot actually pronounce the phrase "Bluetooth Audio" given she was programmed to say it from day one. Mine sounds like "Blugloob Audighh".
My plan is to replace the stock H/U with an aftermarket navi setup soon here, so not sure how much longer I'll even rely on Sync, or to what extent.
