Maybe air in system. Bring back up and check again.

When you say bring back up do you mean fill the coolant level again? I just have a hard time seeing how my truck could drain a whole gallon of coolant in one day and there not be a leak somewhere. Do you think if there was air in the system that it wouldn't have made the level go down so far? When i say low I mean it almost looks empty again.

There is a known problem with the plumbing leading to (below) the reservoir. You have to look closely apparently to find it. There is a thread here somewhere.

Found this forum that may be what's up with mine. Taking it to get it looked at on Monday though. I am not good enough with trucks, so I believe I would have a hard time working on it.

It ended up having to do with the upper radiator hose and O-ring. Got it fixed and it is running perfect now. I will make sure to keep an eye out for the hose coming from the reservoir to make sure I dont need that other kit. Thank you all for your input.
