Blinker volume control would be awesome! Now add to it the volume feature add w/roadnoise like you can w/the radio.

Added to the wishlist....https://www.f150forum.com/f38/2013-f...h-list-130819/

My 95' F-150 I had a heavy duty blinker relay installed so I could hear it better when driving on the interstate. Got tired of realizing way down the road that I had my blinker on for miles.
I do agree, the blinker annoying and too loud when it's quiet.

Damn, Ford replied back.

Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company. My name is Marjorie and I'm with the Ford Customer Service Department. I received your email regarding your interest to lower the volume of the turning signal of your 2011 Ford F-150.

I understand where your concern lies and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to write us. Please be advised that it is an electronic controlled that simulate a hazard/flasher sound through the instrument cluster. I am sorry to inform you that there is no way to lower the sound of this feature.

I guess I will have to do some wire snipping.

So does this do all alarms or just the blinker? I was wondering if there was just a wire for the blinker?

I believe just the blinker, there was a thread with pics on this about a year ago.

Yeah, I find that a little funny too. Oh well, I guess I am not "manly" in the eyes of some people, but it ain't no skin off my nuts of what ppl think of me. Besides, I have a wife and the only one I have to please is her.

Maybe you have old blinker fluid. Change it and it should be better. If that doesn't work use the **** in the middle of the dash that says volume. Turn it to the right and that should suppress the sound

I posted up the blue wire mod 8 or so months ago...

It is a great mod, but it is for eliminating the Key In/Door Open chime, nothing to do with the blinkers...

Here is the info on the blue wire mod

Unfortunately, I don't think you will ever find a reasonable way to adjust or eliminate the blinker tone. You could take out your instrument panel, take it apart, find the speaker, and somehow muffle it, but that is quite a bit of work with a pretty expensive penalty if you screw it up, and would affect the volume of all tones/warnings.
