Did you recalibrate it after installing? Are they turned on?

Only issue I have with the replacement camera is I no longer get the green, yellow, red squares that would show up on the screen.

Default Rear camera not working

Hello fellow Ford owners. I have a 2010 f150 Lariat S Crew 5.4. I'm new to this forum and have had problems with my rear camera flickering and reverse image for about 6 months. Figured it needed replaced so decided to check it out just to see. Checked the ground connections under back of bed and all ok. Quick look at all harness's under dash and kick panels. Nothing helped. Finally went ahead and took the rear emblem off tailgate and took camera out and cleaned connection and reinstalled it. All is in great working order now. Been 3 weeks and no problems. So far so good. I'll keep y'all posted as time goes by. Hope this may help with anyone else.

Hey Roostert, could you advise how you disassembled/reassembled your rear emblem (logo plate) when you cleaned your camera? Did you find a way to not break the tabs or figured out a way to reinstall without having to replace the logo plate? Lastly, is your camera still working fine?

Thanks!

2011 F150 SCREW and I get the blue screen for a few seconds then it shuts off. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it doesn't. I remove my tailgate and install the factory cap on the wiring harness from November to May ever since the vehicle was new, so salt spray isn't an issue. I broke the tabs off the emblem and removed the camera entirely from the tailgate and plugged it back into the vehicle harness and it worked a time or two then quit. I shifted from park to reverse several times and the camera continued with the blue screen for a few seconds and then it shuts off, just like it does all winter with the tailgate removed so I'm at a loss.
