I believe you have to calibrate the camera after installation:either Forscan or IDS. Just picked up my sons 14 Limited Explorer today for the same reason. They replaced camera and re calibrated.

I am not sure if this is an LED or camera issue so please bare with me. Has anyone had problems with the backup camera not working after the truck has run for a bit? I installed reverse LEDs from 4x4truckleds.com and wonder if installing resistors will help. On cold starts most of the time the backup camera works so it is very strange. I know the reverse lights and the camera are linked in some way. I have a 2014 Raptor. Thanks

Is the picture screwy? or Do you get the written error to contact the dealer? If either, it needs to be replaced, the camera.

Did he install replacement reverse LED lights also? Just wanted to see if that is causing my issue by chance... I have a warranty so they should cover the camera if that's the case.

I have LED reverse lights in mine and I have had no problems with the replacement camera. I also have some bigger reverse lights under the bumper so I do not think that your issue is the LED's.

Only issue I have with the replacement camera is I no longer get the green, yellow, red squares that would show up on the screen.
