My camera is working, but it's not making any beeping noises. Any idea what's up with that? The lines and everything are still there, just no beeps.

Is your "Rear Parking Aid" (I think that's what it's called) turned on? I turn mine off when I'm hooking/hooked to a trailer to make it shut up. Other than that, I don't know.

Yes, it's turned on. The camera comes on with the lines, but no beeping.

They are two separate systems.

Need to hit settings when in reverse and check to make sure that the sensors have not been turned off. My sensors are working find its just the camera that's messing up.

Think I need a new camera. Can someone give me a suggestion for finding a good deal? Thanks.

Rear View Camera is unavailable / No signal detected from Rear View Camera

It did this to me a couple of times, worked then didn't work, it was annoying. Then it didn't work at all for 3 days. Backed out of the driveway this morning and it worked just fine, picked up the boss to take him to work and it didn't work again.

I've unplugged the connector at the tailgate and cleaned that all out to make sure there is not an issue there. The wires back there look fine also.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? I've been searching since it first started but apparently I can't search correctly or something.

Should have added this is in a 2012 Platinum.

I have a 2013 FX4 and my backup camera has been working on and off and then last week, it quit completely. where do I start? I want to avoid the local dealership, they are not very friendly.

I realize this is an old thread, I hope no one is offended. My 2010 lariat crew cab camera failed. Blue screen, then nothing. I found a camera on aliexpress for $64 delivered. Works perfect. I ordered the incorrect camera, I screwed up. The plug exits the old camera in-line and the new one at a 90* angle. I had already plugged it in to confirm it worked and noted the orientation of the picture and determined the direction to install correctly. It wouldn't snap into the fitting due to the plug so I modified the bracket enough to snap in and discovered I couldn't install into the gate while plugged in as the hole in the gate wouldn't allow clearance. I installed it into the gate and took the interior panel off to plug it in. Tiny openings large hands and some attitude and I succeeded. Perfect optics. It is the system with the tiny screen in the mirror. I tow a lot and I missed not having it when hitching a trailer.

is there any chance you have the part number for the one you got to work? Mine is dead too and I can get one for an edge with the 90* connection for ~$50 or the f-150 one for 300. I’d much rather just plug it in once mounted than pay the extra $250 for the strait connector one.
