Antenna
Tying to decide between the Stubby and the Bullet style short antennas by Cravenspeed. There's not a lot of full truck pictures on Google images to see how the bullet looks on the trucks. I don't want it to look tacky (for my application) although I like the bullet style one, will it look out of place? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

What do YOU want? I've seen both and like stubby better. There are pictures of both on this forum somewhere. Either way, I hear they both get stolen, so get some locktite if you don't already have a bottle.

Thanks!! I like the bullet but I'm not into guns and don't want to portray an aggressive image on the truck, if that's what it will look like? I may just go with the Stubby. Don't get me wrong..,the bullet I really like.....just may be better suited to certain truck owners' personalities....

I have the stubby and love it. The bullet looks cool but I'd imagine it being an item someone would want to take.

The bullet is cool but tacky on all but the right truck. So if you don't want tacky don't get the bullet, just my opinion. I just picked up a 7" rubberized Metra Raptor antenna from Autozone for $13. I really like it so far and I saved half over the Stubby.

Make sure you keep those AZ ones cleaned up. There was a big thread on here as to wether the AZ one was better than the Cravenspeed one because of the price, well it was found that to AZ one bent and faded pretty quickly whereas the Cravenspeed ones were still great years later.
I've had mine for 4 years and have never put any product other than soap on it and it looks brand new. It's made of anodized aluminum so the cost is more than the rubber like one from AZ.

be careful with replacing antennas. I placed a stubby antenna on my wife's SUV and the damn thing rusted and snapped off. Now I cant place any antenna on the base.
