I've got the short rubber antenna that F150 Lifts sells that I no longer use. It was on the truck for all of 2 days, brand new. PM me if interested in it.

Just cut off the original antenna at 13" round the end and paint it Black. Looks good, gets good signal and if you don't like it you can always throw the bullet on.

I ordered up a Stubby, direct from Cravenspeed. Very quick action I must say, I ordered online yesterday morning and got an email by lunch that it was picked and shipped. Seems like great service so far. Hopefully the quality is good and reception decent, as folks say. I do use Sirius radio 99% of the time, so shouldn't be a big issue of reception isn't great outside of the city (where I live).

Just here to comment on your username, OP. Is that your last name? Not common as far as I know and its the last name of my Commanding Officer.

Remove ball from factory antenna, cut antenna, reinstall call & paint.

I've had mine for 4 years and have never put any product other than soap on it and it looks brand new. It's made of anodized aluminum so the cost is more than the rubber like one from AZ.
Rescue, which antenna are you running? I didn't follow.
