Frankly, if I was the one to make a decision on a blown TUNED EB turning 6,000 rpm when it went BOOM, I would tell the customer......"the standard parameters that Ford programmed into the truck were designed for long term reliability. The enhanced parameters that have been programmed into your truck led directly to the failure of engine parts stressed beyond their designed strength. Before we start on your engine rebuild, we need half down, and the other half upon completion. The estimate for parts and labor to get your truck back on the road is $10,750 -- please leave a check for half of that with the cashier on your way out."
Hard core, I know, and some here may have a problem with my POV, but if you add nitrous to your EB or any other engine in the truck and blow it up, why should the manufacturer be responsible? I don't see tuning your engine for more rpm, HP and torque with the computer as any different than adding a supercharger or nitrous to an engine not designed for it...... You play, you pay, simple as that.

No Way, not when the side of the block lets loose. There are tons of GM LS blocks pushing close to 1000 HP and they don't blow chunks.
