I would advise them to not take that route because i'm sure we have enough people to start a class action law suit which would be a major black eye for ford once it hit some media outlets. I believe the sticky thread has around 100 people and still growing, thats some serious cash for how much each truck cost and has this issue. If they string us out it may be worse for them.

Doesn't the TSB pretty much state that it is for this issue??

So now they are saying 12-2-10 TSB isn't for the 55mph shudder or the 5-10mph shudder? It never was for the 5-10mph shudder if that is the one you are referencing.

Has this issue developed over time for folks or was it there from the moment you owned your truck? The road I drive very day is uphill to come (about 1000ft incline from highway to home over 4miles) and have been testing this out around 50-60mph and have felt nothing at all.

Got the 12-02-10 flash update performed yesterday morning. I've only driven about 35 miles since the update, but my truck is running great. I got the best gas mileage ever this morning on my daily commute to work. It was raining this morning in Seattle. No shudder, shifts smooth, and good MPG. I guess I need several hundred more miles to be able to say truly fixed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hopefully, you won't have anything to be concerned about.

Probably, 1/2 of 1% of the trucks manufactured are showing these symptoms, but I'd hate to be in the .5 category.

This seems to be the case with most. After my reprogramming with 12-02-10 my truck ran great, netted two tanks of decent milage didn't feel any shudder/miss. After 750 miles, milage is down and truck doesn't perform as well as it did rifght after the programming.

Hope your results are different but don't get your hopes up. I feel is was half a band aid fix.

My dealership told me it has to be 4/200, so 2% of vehicles for ford to issue a TSB. Not sure if they were blowing smoke or what the deal is. But I believe this number as this dealer told me they've had atleast 5 eco's come in with the shuttering and misfires. And they're a reasonably small dealer, most likely selling around 20-30 eco's a year at the most I would say.

Obviously if the issue is condensation, the climate will play a big role in whether or not people notice the issue. Some areas may have .5% of the trucks sold having issues, but some may have 10%+.
