Is there an better aftermarket 8" screen?
The infotainment screen in my wife's Jeep Cherokee puts my truck's sync 3 screen to shame. The screen resolution is better, the screen backgrounds are better, album art is clearer, color contrast is better, etc.
I was wondering if there is an aftermarket screen with better resolution, graphics, etc. that can replace the Ford 8" screen?

You can install an aftermarket headunit. Look for capacitive screen and HD screen if available. I have a Kenwood right now but its got a resistive screen. My next upgrade will be capacitive and hopefully HD screen resolution. There are aftermarket giant tablet units available too if you want a really big screen.

Because after all, a man has to have a better screen than his wife's.

Thanks artsr2002. When you installed the Kenwood, did you lose any of the factory features like the preset buttons on the dashboard, USB connections in the console, steering wheel controls, navigation?

LOL. My wife will get a chuckle from that. We're driving her car more to use up miles on her lease. The Jeep system makes the Ford seem cheap and I'll be driving this truck for a long time so I thought it would be worth the investment.

If you use a maestro RR you will gain functionality and not loose anything.
I went to a 7" screen (kenwood ddx9907xr) and don't regret it one bit.
Gained gauges, front camera, underbody camera, wireless carplay, TPMS graphic, engine code clearing, etc.
You can look at the floating screens too that are 10-12" like the stinger.

My wife has a '21 Cherokee. My truck is a '20 F150 with the 8" screen. I had a '21 F150 as a loaner and it had the big screen system which was okay, but I liked the 8" display better. I felt the '21 screen was too big.
