Hello all. I am looking for some help on the FOR-11CK wiring harness. I asked the seller this question and he told me to come here.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this? I want to buy it instead of hacking the factory wiring but I also want to make sure that it has all the speaker wires that I need.

I have seen some of the pictures and it looks like there are 4 sets of speaker wires that come out of the harness on the back of the stereo. I expect there to be 6 sets for my application.

The seller claims a lot of models it is compatible to, but there are some versions of the stereo with and without the subwoofers.

Thanks in advance.

First we need what truck you have. The harness will wrk with any models but ones with Sony. You only have 4 speaker s with the front tweeters tapped off the door speaker.

I ordered the Axxess DPS plug. I also have had some issues and they may or may not be related to using Forscan to change the radios outputs to 5v preaouts as described in the Forscan sheet. Today my truck threw a check engine light for over boost and the dealer could not access the PCM. I did not revert back to the original module cofigs before taking it in. So now I have to revert back to stock and I am now running my amp of the speaker level outputs. The reminder chimes that usually play through the door speakers went to a module behind the dash when my amp shut off.

The radio needs to see a load (like a speaker or an amp thats on) to continue to send the chimes through the speakers. I have reset my ACM module several times and this repeatedly happens. Here is what wrote in another post.

"Second thing I noticed is that the reminder chimes work through my Audio Control 5 channel amp till the amp shuts off. Once that happens, when the system goes to make chimes (door open, lights on etc) it does not see the amp or a load like a speaker and it diverts the chimes to a beeper module behind the instrument cluster. The reverse parking assist warnings also go through that beeper in the dash but it partially mutes the stereo. Thats really kinda fine with me since when its through the amp it is a bit loud. Just something to point out."

To sum it up, bough 4 really nice speakers and found out that the stock radio power is not that great. So I ordered the Axxess DSP plug which is similar to the others and only costs $20 or $30 at Best Buy. I Forscanned the radio to do 5V preamp out for clean sound and to keep the chimes the same. I learned that leaving any USB device plugged in is not a good idea. I fried one USB thumb drive when the radio "resets" during the loading of the new configs. I also had issues with the chimes. Finally after trying several times and doing the Forscan process very carefully, it worked. I had 5V pre-amp out to the 5 channel amp. Life was good,

Today the truck threw a check engine code for over boost. I spent 5 hours at the dealer. They could not diagnose it because it had a modified configuration. Their system saw that the configs did not match the as-builts and would not talk with the PCM module. None of the changes I did were to the PCM module. I spent a couple hours reloading every module's as-built config and making everything work with those settings. So I had to add resistors to my LED turn signals, kill the DRL feature for my LED headlamps and change the RCAs to the amp back to speaker level inputs. Then I spent some more time trying to figure out why the chimes would go through the amp and then quit shortly after.

So when building your set-up I would consider what I have said. My story is below. I am not a shade tree installer, i used to do it professionally. This vehicle has become a PITA because of all the junk that is controlled by modules. So now I have to go back and see if the dealer can access the PCM. They can "flash" it but I was advised that it reports that up the chain to Ford and that could cause a warranty issue. I don't know if putting it back to stock will work or not or which forscan changes were causing them to not access the PCM. It could be one or all. I just hope this works.

Even if going back to the as-builts works, you'll have to disconnect your amp and so on if you switch from 5v preamp RCA inputs back to speaker level inputs. As it is I am concerned about the chimes being not where they normally belong and that being an issue. So far I have no DTCs. It appears that it may just be designed that way so it's OK. I did try the GUI version of changing the ACM configs to external speaker and the chimes went back to the door speakers and stayed there. They were a bit loud though, like almost annoying. You get blasted with chimes every time you start the truck. I'm sure it was louder than when it was when I had the Forscan 5V pre-amp out code hack. That was more like stock volume.

So I still have the amp, It's using the speaker wires as inputs. It sounds okay. The chimes are coming from somewhere behind the instrument cluster and the stereo lowers its volume when the reverse warnings happen. I have yet to find out about the BLIS when backing up.

if your Forscan works why didn't you get the DTC from forscan?

I was going to drive by the dealer anyway, and under the conditions the code was thrown, I wanted to make sure the truck was OK.

All the Forscan changes are in the BCM and ACM pretty much. It wasn't something that I thought would be discovered. It wasn't as much as discovered as it was a conclusion that they came to after trying to access the PCM in the manner that they usually do, and could not. So it appears that if you have any Forscan changes and they will need to do maintenance for anything where they will check codes or plug into the OBD II you will probably want to revert back to the as-builts unless my dealer and or truck is different than normal.

The proof will be when I return to see if they can perform the tests now that I have reverted back to the as-builts.

From their standpoint it probably looks like I made changes to the PCM to get more boost and then the truck threw an over-boost code. There is a long history of owners of turbo charged vehicles doing all sorts of things to change the boost to get more HP.

Some changes in Forscan are able to be switch back with no side effects but if you have changed the BCM to not hyper flash, you'll have to changed back to stock bulbs or install resistors. The stereo mod means you'll have to unplug the amp when you revert back.

If you're truck is NOT running and broke down on the side of the road, you'll have to make the Forscan changes and other hardware changes before you tow it to the dealer. I don't know about you but I don't keep my laptop with the as-bulits in the truck with me.

The guy on ebay trying to sell me the harness told me to come here. I have a 2016 Fusion that has the 4 door speakers and 2 6x9 subs in the rear deck. On doing further research, I have found that the additional sub lines are on a different connector coming out of the back of the had unit that I will need to tap into.

Welcome to the forum.
That harness will provide 4 channels of signal that your amp or DSP can amplify.
Also, you might wanna check on this forum here for more model specific information. Good luck.
