Default Hello from NC

I purchased my 2008 F150 4x2 Sport on Feb 22nd. I love my truck! It is black exterior and black leather seats with red stitching. Nav system, blue tooth, IPOD adaptor, tough grip Rhino lining, bed extender and bed cover. The rims are one of the best parts. I purchased it as an accessory to my motorcycle but it is so hot it demanded center stage. I am taking it with my bike on the back to Daytona on Thursday for Bike Week. Not which ride I will love more!

Well, they both have their strong points. There's nothing like a litre class sport bike though.

Congrats on the truck. I just bought one myself on Saturday.

Thanks! I just checked out your truck. Very nice. I like that color too. Too bad you had to trade in your mustang.

Well, I really didn't want to but I also didn't want to deal with two vehicles again. I just recently sold my '03 Lincoln LS to my brother. I thought I could deal with the Mustang as a daily but I was wrong. It just became too much of a chore dealing with traffic. Everyone either tried to race me or block me in. I was getting out of control at times too. Just too much temptation to deal with daily. I'll probably get another one when they get redone for '10.

Thanks for the compliment on my truck. I really wanted to get the 5.4 but there weren't any '07s left with the 5.4. I would have given up 3k in rebates if I went with an '08. I ended up with 9k in rebates + x-plan on the '07 so I'm very happy with the final price!

I definitely like black F150s too but too much work to keep them clean.

You are definately correct I should ride my bike to bike week. I am not for a few reasons, one being I have not received my corbin seat for my GSXR yet so riding it for too long just hurts my ****! Also, I will be towing down two bikes. Finally, how could I live such a hottie at home? I will however be riding to Myrtle Bike week in May.

There are a lot of sport bike riders that trailer to bike week. It's just much harder to ride a sport bike for that length of time. I live in FL and we trailered 4 sport bikes to Daytona the last time I went.

I haven't gone in a couple years. I sold my CBR954RR two years ago. There were a lot of things going on in my life. I really loved riding that bike though. There is no other feeling like it. Of course I had dirtbikes growing up and my Dad used to race his Kawasaki at Flat Rock Speedway. It's in Flat Rock, MI. I guess you could say it's in my blood.
