I started a new job this week and inherited a '99 F150 as a work truck. It is pretty well worn so I wasn't too excited at first but, it seems like a pretty good truck that just needs some tlc. This thing has over 245k miles on it.

I am looking forward to the forums expertise on some of the issues I need to have corrected on this baby.

Wow, 245k? You know that says alot about these trucks since being a work truck that is given to people- it probably has been beaten like a rented mule. Cool that it feels like it is holding up well.

BTW- Welcome to the family.

The list I have for it isn't too long considering...
Monday it goes in for the front end clunk, probably ball joints, also sounds like it has a bad wheel bearing up there. Maybe I will get lucky and it is only shocks. I need one center cap for the chrome steel wheels, a seat cover to hide the hole some dope made, a set of tires and a headlight polish.

It starts, runs, shifts and stops better than expected. No complaints here

Glad to hear the old gal has held up well with the abuse she has taken!
Good luck on any/all repairs and upgrades!
