Even the front window???

Ever since I had the Lasik surgery I have to have tinted (slightly) windows. I want to get the front ones done but after getting a ticket a few years ago I am kinda gun shy about that. Just check legal in your state. When I had mine done it seemed to help that the backs were darker than the fronts, helped keep out some of the light and made the front seem darker.

I had 35% put on at a shop cost me 130.00, then I didn't like it so I bought 15% and put it on right over the 35%. So now its about 10%, and I love it. But as stated before, its a bitch at night.

since you've had Lasik you could probably get the doc to sign off the waver so you can tint your windows as dark as you want.

just do it yourself . The tint from walmart actually works really well if you have the patience. It takes about three hours and costs $10 a role so its not a wallet breaker if you have to take it off. I have self tinted several of my friends cars with no bubbles, peeling, etc. When I finally got a ticket 11 months after I did it (2.5%) all the way around it was a $10 fix it ticket and $30 bucks of wasted tint. no biggie.

I would highly advise people to NOT buy the Walmart tint. After a while it will bubble and it turns purple.........

Maybe your Walmart carries good stuff but I highly doubt it at $10 a roll.

Not bashing you, just throwing that out there.

^^^^ HAHA I don't blame you. I was weary at first. Only the black magic one works good. The rest I wasn't even going to waste my time. If you take the time to do it right it and really smooth it out it doesn't peel or bubble and it never turned purple. I had it on my ranger for over 3 years without a problem. I've done about 5 other cars and none of them have has issues so far. But I'm just going off personal experience and as a broke college kid who can't afford $310 tint.

just throwing it out as a cheap option. Most people don't have the time or the patience anyways but I wanted to prove that it could be done since everyone told me it not to waste my time. hah there's plenty of horrible self-tint jobs floating around Cali as well.
