2010 xlt screw 4x2 with 4.6L stock and 3.55ls. I hand calculate each tank. Low of 12 mpg towing xcountry, to a high of 22, filling up just before a long freeway trip at 65... Average is 19.2 over 55000 miles.

Heavy stop and go kills the mpg. Sweet spot seems to be 6th gear, rpms at 1300-1500, 50mph.

I'm lucky that my commute is early AM and I can do 45-50 on surface roads.

2013 EB 3.73 max tow SC 6.5 bed

13.4 mpg

all hwy, tires 44 psi, no wind, mostly flat I-94, 160 mikes into Michigan from Indiana border

My mileage gets worse by the mile. Started off around 17-18 mpg hwy new, now below 14 with 8000 miles on the truck.

Not impressed to say the least. I got the same hwy mileage towing a 4500 pound boat and trailer with a V8 on my last vehicle.

Let's blame it on the cold, the winter gas, and I'm guessing you're going faster than 65mph. Still, 14mpg when the sticker said 21 or 22 is kinda a bummer.

It actually sounds about right, depending. I get 22 mpg at a constant 70 mph, 85 deg ambient, on pure gas. Switch to e10 and I get 21. Speed up to 80 mph and I get 18. Drop the ambient to 35 deg and I get 15 mpg. Throw in a few stops and it goes down from there.

I just realized something while checking out the sticker on my new 2013 v8 4x4 for gas mileage. It says for city, 15 L/100 km or 19 mi/gal. When I was punching those numbers in to a conversion site, they didn't match up. I then realized that the 19 mi/gal advertised is UK mi/gal, NOT US mi/gal. Makes sense seeing as I am in Canada, but I wasn't thinking that when i bought the truck. Ha, likely still better then the 4.0 v6 Ranger I had. It sucked the gas back.

I just got 19.5 and 19.3 the last two tanks in my 06 SCAB with a 6.5' bed. (calculated by hand at the pump, not off my Edge)

3.73 gears, Gott's mod, high flow Amsoil air filter, Edge Evolution CS on level 2, tonneau cover. This was doing 70 mph on I-70 from Kansas City to St. Louis with a couple bathroom and food breaks thrown in.

Weekend before last I went from Branson, MO to Tulsa, OK on all interstate roads, it was about a 550 mile round trip with four guys, 15 bowling *****, and the rest of our luggage in the back and I drove about a 50/50 split of 70mph and 80mph and I got 15.13mpg hand calculated round trip. The temps never got above 31 degrees so I am sure that played a part in it as well.

I put this assembly on my '95, '01 F150's & on a '02 F250 V10 also. It helped a little on the F150's if you watched your driving (to easy to be jumping on the gas). The F250 V10 helped it breath but didn't do anything for the mileage, 9MPG in town & 13MPG on the road unloaded. With an enclosed trailer, tools & race car (7100 lb loaded), lucky to get 8MPG on the road. Biggest problem was having to watch your driving, turn your radio up so you don't hear the air being sucked in,
