Just made a road trip, 600 miles each way
22.5 mpg running 80mph in very heavy traffic.
19.3 mpg running 80 mph with zero traffic. Basically, alone on the highway.
So when NASCAR talks about drafting, it’s very real.
Hypermiling as they call it too, behind a semi works well.
MPG calculator in the truck is telling me 21-22 mostly around town driving in eco mode. Manual calculations tell me it's within 1 mpg, so 20-21 would be fairly accurate. I haven't had a highway trip longer than 40 miles yet, but I'm going on a 400 mile trip soon.
Pretty good improvement over my 3v 5.4 which got 9-11 around town and 14-16 highway. New truck is a foot longer but about 800 lbs lighter with half the displacement, so it's not a surprise.
Edit: trip is done, approximately 380 miles of mostly flat highways with some long rolling hills going 65 the whole way in eco mode got me 24 mpg there and 27 mpg back. Dash was within 0.5 mpg after hand calculating.

The best I’ve ever got. Otherwise usually hovers around 11L/100km for daily usage. It’s got twice the rang compared to my old dodge, granted it’s a bigger tank, very happy with the outco
me
Last two tanks
1: Tank 1 Towing: 315 miles 11.0 MPG I've done better before but temperature was around freezing and it was almost 100% interstate
2: Tank 2: 455 miles including 100 miles towing, 17.3mpg.
Summer gas is coming in so mpg will improve. Its nice to see over 700 miles range again. Towing really makes a difference.
Brand new 2022 3.5 EB Lariat Supercab w/ whimpy Pirelli Scorpions on 20" rims. Added a tonneau cover for a long road trip (March) & got 22 mpg @ 75 mph.
When I got home dealer called to say the mud flaps I was supposed to have were in so let us put them on. Went on another long road trip (September) w/ wife in passenger seat and luggage in the back - 20 mpg @ 75 mph. Never saw 22 mpg again after getting mud flaps.
Got a Leer 180 camper shell, built a bed in the back, added some camping gear, and went on another long road trip (January) - 18 mpg @ 75 mph.
Whimpy Pirellis and lack of underbelly protection constant cause for concern off pavement, so added 2.5" level, 285/65 R20 Toyo Open Country III's to stock rims and full set of aluminum RCI skid plates. Truck looks awesome and is now the way I want it. Went on a camping trip (March) - flat interstate mileage 14 mpg @ 75 mph!
What do you think? Is 14 mpg my new normal? Will the computer adjust for more fuel efficiency? Would cold air intake or something else give me back some mpg? Thanks! 22 mpg 14 mpg?!
My opinion? You're stuck with 14 mpg due to the mods you have done. Since you have documented the effect on mileage so well, you can see what cost you.

Yeah, raising the nose 3" and big knobby tires have to cost something. Had 2 different shops recommend those tires in that size and it now feels like a 4x4 to drive. Rolling resistance is very noticeable. I'll probably go with something a little more civilized when the time comes. But I'm very happy with the mods aside from getting the same gas mileage as my dad's junker trucks in the 70's.
@Thud did you reprogram your truck to account for the larger diameter tires? And is this solely going off of the trucks fuel economy display or is it hand calculated after each fill up?
