County Sherriff got me, he jsut like my truck a lot. When he pulled me over the first thing he said is, im not here to give you a citation. I bet you he kicked his *** when he found the Captian in the cooler, along with a 12 pack of Bug Light.

I am not a reckless driver by any means. It wasn't like I speed and try to run people off the road. I was going witht the flow of traffic. I happened to be on the left lane when he spotted me. I am not trying to get out of paying it. I just don't want any points. I thought that may be some of you have had this experience and went to court and pay extra to knock down the points.

Default A Happy Ending:

Way, way, way, way back in 1965 I was tooting my '64 Dodge 383 Police Interceptor 4 SPD 105mph (6200rpm in 3rd) in a 40mph zone. A highway patrolman took notice and pulled me over. He read me the riot act then asked what it was I had under the hood. We kicked it around for a few minutes, then he said, "Get out of here, and don't do that again." When I got home I got down on my knees and thanked the Lord for His mighty blessings.

BTW and FYI: The circumstances of the incident were such that no one or anything was put in jeopardy by my short, but quick, trip. I'm sure the officer had taken that into consideration.

well aS A HIGHWAY COP I can tell you to pay it by mail. chaulk it up to experience. If you pay by mail its the min fine allowed. Points are automatic by law ,so theres no options there. Take a defensive driving class, and mail in the ceftificate with the ticket it will help with D.M.V.
If you go to court, trust me, you aint got a chance in hell to beat him..unless he wants you to. And remember its not a trap..its a zone.. so pay attention ,slow down and drive safely.. speed kills... unless your on the track.
