mid-size trucks the world over look like it. The US is the only country in the world where trucks haven't evolved to a more sleek style.
look at trucks like the Nissan Nivara and the toyota trucks overseas....all better looking IMO. Course, the Frontier is going on what, 15 years since a re-do? That being said, mid-size trucks all over the world have diesels too. But our emissions restrictions make small diesels wholly impractical for manufacturers to try to meet....that and a 200hp diesel with 400ft-lbs in a mid-size truck doesn't 'feel' fast, so untrained Americans don't like it.
i like the ranger. I think the price is batty....but full size truck prices are just as crazy.

I don't care if the rest of the world is doing it, I don't like the style of most foreign cars and that's what I don't like about the Ranger, looks foreign. Same with the Colorado and Canyon. The Frontier has always been ugly and the Tacoma is the most masculine and truck like of all of them in styling. If I wanted something that looks liked a car I'd buy a car.

Sorry for her luck. Nissan is a shell of the company they were 15 years ago, unfortunately. i used to be a huge nissan fan....they lost me. Gohn drove that company into the ground. I almost got hired by them just before they moved HQ to TN. Fortunately i didn't...the dept I would've worked for...half of 'em got laid off before the move was announced. LOL.

Eventually I'll probably move back to a midsized. I'd have a hard time deciding which one right now, IMO the Tacoma has gone downhill with the last refresh. I drove an 05 Frontier for 10 years and I loved that truck, but aside from a new headunit it's still the same truck. The Ranger is pretty "meh", but I'd at least test drive one. Regardless of what a lot of people think, the Ridgeline has more capability than 90% of truck owners need and it might be at the top of my list, but the 2nd gen is just fugly. I'm really curious what Nissan does with the new Frontier though.

I drove the new Titan when they did a bunch of demos on a tour, acceleration, braking, off-road course, etc. The interior was pretty nice, and i liked the diesel. But then I bought an F150 and haven't looked back.
Like i said. I used to love Nissan. Owned several over the years. But their lineup now just feels so vanilla I can't even look at it anymore, outside the GTR (which is admittedly long in the tooth too despite being absolutely fantastic).
