Rubber Bed Mat - Does it need sticking down?
Sold my bedmat not long after I got it.

.
I'll have to remove mine in another month or 2 to install on my new truck along with the bed mat and bed extender.
Another thing that works well is go to the local livestock supply and feed store. Here they carry the black rubber mats that you can put on the floor of horse trailers. These are 3/4 of an inch thick and come in several different sizes. You can cut em to fit with a power saw. Very heavy duty and I have used the same one on my 3rd F-150 now. They sell a lot of them to guys that use them as flooring in their weight lifting rooms too. They work very well in the bed of a truck.
I drove home from work last night forgot to shut the tailgate got home the bed mat was still there, although I only drove 50 mph max on the way home!!
I have Line-x spray in as well as the OEM mat, and it fits perfectly flush all around. Best of both worlds I’m my opinion, really saves those knees when you have to crawl around in there. As others have said, that thing is ridiculously heavy, a lot more than you’d think than by looking at it.
