Nitto Mud Grapplers vs Trail Grapplers
The title says it all. What are your opinions on each tire? I will be purchasing new tires soon, but I can't decide which ones to get.
Both are good tires. If you daily drive your truck, id suggest the trails.. as you will get more milage out of them. The muds are noisy at any speed. I chose the muds because i sacraficed longivity for agressive looks. Ive never ran the trails, so i cant say how they do off road, but the muds work exceprionally well, as expected.
Yes the trails look agressive, in my opinion, but not nearly as much as the muds. If they had made the trails in the size i was looking for, i would have went with them. But i dont believe they are made in anything wider then a 12.50. Boo!
Trails all the way!! Great looking tire. I currently have right at 30,000 miles on mine right now and they still have a ways to go. Nitto did a great job with this tire. I have a couple buddies who have had the mud grapplers and they did not get much milage at all.
Trails are pretty aggressive... I only have about 5,000 miles on mine.. I wanted a tire that looked rugged and had a pretty decent tread life.. I'm more highway.. No way I could deal with the howling of a regular M/T..
