Ok, I'll admit I'm being lazy. How do I initiate the update?

 

Go to owner.ford.com and sign up/sign in. Good luck though, I still can't get mine to install. It just hangs forever. Rebecca has been of great assistance though!

 

After you log in to your Owner account, click on SYNC & HOW-TOS, then CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES under the USEFUL LINKS heading. From there, just follow the directions that are provided when you click on DOWNLOAD SYNC UPDATE. Let me know if you need any help.

after about 10 different tries Im getting no media files ...

Oh wait is this update only for those with navigation?? i have the 4.2 inch screen...

 

finally got it.... lol and it added a sirius app to my settings that allow artist alert and so forth.

It did for me. See thread on Sync breaks USB2.

 

so if you have a 14 with the big screen and voice nav there is no update? Just checked and found nothing.
