yeah I think my radio software is ****ed. I can't even do a master reset or go back to factory defaults. When I try everything just stays the same, radio stations, sound settings, BT devices etc. Buddy of mine recommended unhooking the battery, I haven't had time but I'll try that.

There more than one file. Did you unzip the file that you've downloaded? There should be 3 files that you copy to the usb drive.

I am thinking the same. I just checked both of my vehicles and neither shows an update available.

I downloaded the unzipped filed to my USB.... The sync my ride folder and the 2 install files. When I try to update it says no media files found. I've tried 2 separate sub drives. Help please! TIA!

I had the same problem yesterday on my 2013 XLT...grrr! I found the solution on another thread and it worked perfect. Took me maybe 10 minutes. below are the directions I used:

put USB in > aux line in > menu > SYNC-Media > System Settings > Advanced > Install Application

Once it starts, the rest of the directions on the Ford website are correct. It will quickly say its complete, but its not. It will then install some more and again say its complete or needs to reboot. Once it says this give it a few minutes before trying to use sync. I then had to resync my phone. Update is working great now without any problems.

Good Luck!
