Default miles?

miles? my 97 f150 xlt 4x4 4.6L 5spd manual has 370,322 miles on it. and body is still in really good shape for a MN truck. went 200 miles in it and oil still on full line. not blowing smoke either. is this common for that motor? love driving the manual transmission.

Enjoy it while it last. And don't talk to loud, the truck might hear you. That's usually my luck.

Time to replace the battery. I don't want a cheap unreliable piece of crap, what battery would you recommend?
Thanks!

Very random question in a 6.5 year old thread that has nothing to do with batteries.

Go to your favorite auto parts store, get the battery they have in stock that fits your vehicle. Your vehicle is nothing special that requires a special battery.
Done and done.
I've had a few different batteries over the years from local parts stores and none have lasted less than 5 years. Prorated warranty on the higher end 'product' they sell, decent turnaround price in 5 years for a battery with a 7 year warranty.

I had a 1994 that I bought new. It had the straight 6cyl, five speed. After 17 years and 107,000 miles the body rusted off.
Engine was still running strong and never an issue.
