My 07 F150 has 208,000 miles on it nd has worked hard all of its life towing something probably at least 50% of the miles from a bass boat to a tractor and still does not have any issues, I wouldn't think twice about leaving from here in Alabama and going to visit the family in Texas in it tomorrow! Great engines, my brother also has a 97 model with a4.6 with over 200 K still his daily driver!

Ha... Between covid (no place to go) and working from home, I'm putting squat on my truck for mileage.
Purchased new the middle of March this year, and have 4200 miles on it....

Mine is a 2001 Ford F-150 4x4, with 327,200 miles on the original motor. I've serviced it slightly early on all the maintenance items. Had to recently replace two ignition coils. Some minor failures Driver side window actuator (twice) Head Light and fan switches And of course, the standard mileage indicator intermitted display (repaired twice) but still a problem. Runs very strong still, making 2-4 trips up the Hill to 7600' level twice a week.

Not sure what I'll do, Sell it, Crate Motor or Rebuilt???

So, the original thread was for F150 trucks from '97 to '03. Am I missing something?
My truck is a '01 SuperCab 4.2 2WD with 317k miles - Original owner
Minor rust and some rotted frame issues - getting fixed.
Still runs well and looks great.

1998 .WEST COAST /VANCOUVER ISLAND...''rust free''. factory undercoated. just a bit of paint peeling around the drivers doorside window. don't miss the ''salt/sand'' on the NEW YORK-QUEBEC roads at all........... your truck looks pretty darn nice !!
