If you're wanting one of the newer body styles (which I recommend) then I wouldn't go with anything from 2004, simply becuase that was the first year of the new body style and just like anything that is first year they have the most bugs in them. That's not to say the o4's are bad, but they just seem to have the most issues. It really boils down to what you can afford per month, I bought my truck 1 1/2 years ago and put absolutely nothing down. I recently refinanced it through my credit union (originally financed through Ford Motor Credit) and my payment got knocked down $100 a month.
