I put my bike in it today, grabbed the handle and let it fall. Nothing bent or broke and my tailgate will live another day.

Its just how I use the tailgate, Im not a pansy with it. Ive never broken or bent a tailgate on any truck Ive owned/driven but letting it drop.

Does it matter what side that you mount it on, probably the drivers side.
