Do you use auto start/stop?
As with many other "features" on modern motor vehicles, Auto Start-Stop does nothing to improve the overall vehicle performance or driving experience. It's sole purpose is to help meet idiotic Federal fuel mileage requirements. None of my vehicles have it but if they did I would disable it. This feature can only come at a cost in electrical system reliability.

?is this something you’ve actually heard/seen as an objection?
i would never want auto start/stop and i never gun it at lights/stop signs.
On my 2017 F150 I just unplugged it under the dash to the left of the steering column. I only plug it back in when I need to tow my trailer. Otherwise my trailer directionals and brake lights on the trailer won't work for whatever reason
I wouldn't waste money on the other gadgets

Just remember to plug it back in when you using a trailer of the lighting on the trailer won't work.

I've had the BMS sensor unplugged since I got my truck so in addition to letting the charging system run the same as what has functioned fine since the alternator was invented the auto start/stop system is disabled.
My wife has a BMW and the auto start/stop on it is SUPER aggressive. LIke if you just think about pressing the brake the engine shuts off. Annoying pulling up to the garage and tapping the brake to shift into reverse and the car shuts off. Years ago they had memory on the button and it would stay in last state, then they removed that so it reset to ON every start cycle, next up is probably removing the button altogether or subscription service to access it.

I had it shut off in ForScan in my F150. In my Frontier, I installed a jumper on the actual button, as there isnt a program similar to Forscan for Nissans that I know of. I cant stand it personally.
I'm on a Frontier forum as well, and much like here, this topic comes up from time to time. The Frontiers have a screen in the dash that will show you the amount of fuel you have "saved" by using auto start stop feature. Obviously this will change by driving habits and how frequently you are in stop and go, or sitting idle, but this is one persons math based on one tank in their truck (to clarify, I did not check their math, only copy/paste their reply). Another person's dash showed they saved 155 ml over 1200 miles, which is far less "fuel savings" than the below. I see zero reason to accumulate the additional wear on the starter for that.
"I just drove my first tank. Went 380ish miles with a fail amount of city driving and averaged about 18.5 mpg. Fill-up was just over 20 gallons, but I'm not sure the dealer actually filled it up all the way. It didn't seem to hang at the "F" as long as I'm used to. According to the display, I saved a little under 500 ml. That's MILLI-liters. There are 3,785 ml in a gallon. So, assuming everything is accurate and my driving pattern is consistent, I would theoretically save 1 gallon over 7-8 fill-ups (or 140-150 gallons. That's what? .6-.7% improvement? That just seems like a ton to go through for that little of a gain."

I had the same thing on my used 2021 FX4. Started having the famous battery issue many have and swapped the battery. Ever since having the new battery, the A.S.S kicked in so I have to manually turn it off every time I use the truck.
I use to hate it in other cars. But I don't mind it anymore, maybe im getting older. But the system works really well. If you have a heavy foot or drive aggressive I can see you wanting it off.
