Default Do you use auto start/stop?

I have a 2025 RCSB on order, build date Feb.3. I have no experience with auto start/stop. At the moment, I am going to just turn it off every time I start the truck. How do you feel about auto start/stop?

Wifes explorer has it. Doesn't bother me. I don't need to drive full throttle immediately from every light in traffic.

When I ordered my 2023, Ford told me they would have to omit the auto stop/start because of parts shortages. And they gave me $50. Here is my sad face. Just kidding.

First thing after starting the engine I press a button above my center screen that turns A.S.S. off.

I start my truck, and immediately turn the dumbest automotive invention ever built into vehicles off. About twice a year I forget to turn it off, and have a momentary panic attack when it shuts off at a red light until I realize it was the ***.

Turn the key to start and hit the "off" button. Jim.

I’m not a fan…I bought the eliminator which either keeps it on all the time or off.

ill give it to ford though…my wife’s Subaru has it and its a little more delayed then my truck but it starts super aggressive to where it almost jerks the car a tad.

My truck would have to idle about 5 hours to burn one gallon of gas. A 5.0 would burn a bit more idling than that. Obviously auto stop is not worth it.
