Time to run a scan of the OBD2 system and see if an error code is being thrown. No scan and you're grasping at things in the dark.

Thanks for the reply, How can I run the scan and any ideas where I can get the meaning of the error code, or I'm better off taking it to the dealer, but good luck finding a dealer or a mechanic that you could trust!

Default Scan, Scan Tools:

I bought my own scanner, an Innova/Equus 3030, from Amazon.com for about sixty bucks. It includes instructions for use and a complete list of error codes; but, before purchasing a scanner of your own I'd suggest finding an Advance Autoparts store, if that outfit serves your area, and take advantage of its free scan service. There's nothing to it: Just connect the scanner to the data port under the dash, turn the key to "run" and wait for the display.

The possibility exists that the problem in your system won't generate an error code or that the error may not set a warning light, but if it does, the code is stored in permanent memory and will be recovered by the scanner.

Good luck....there are days when I wish I were still driving my 82 Rabbit diesel 4-speed.
BTW: Is the blinking just random, or is it blinking a code? Some AC systems run a self-test and will display an error by blinking the display lights.

Autozone can scan for CEL's as well and give you a print out.

I have an '05 King Ranch and I have the same issue that started the exact same day. Coincidence? I have not resolved this issue yet and I am looking for a solution. I will try doing an EATC self test.

Try this: I unplugged the climate control pannel, and took the part to junk yard to see if I can replace it. I was told that might be the issue. Any how I did not find the unit, so when I plugged it back in it worked. It seemed like by unplugging and plugging back in it reseted itself or something but this is the 3rd day and every thing seems to be fine!!!!

Try it Good luck, and let me know the results.

Thanks, I will try that hopefully this weekend. I was also thinking maybe I can try disconnecting the battery to see if that resets it. I will let you know if it works out.

Tried unplugging the EATC and plugging it back in. It's working perfectly fine now. Thanks for your advice.
