Thumbs down 95mph

2011 ford f150 fx4 5.0 360hp v8, 120mph on the speedo and the thing is pullin hard till it hits 95mph and then it just stops goin. what a disappointment. at least let it go to 100 before you shut it down.

They should at least let you go to the minimum your tires are rated for, which is at least 112 mph. 96 is a friggin' snails pace on some highways I travel, and it pisses me off to be passed by old women in '95 Park Avenues......

Get a programmer and do away with the speed limiter.

Some people find it scary, some set the cruise control at that speed and relax.
I fall into the second group.

Although my Dakota did felt alot more stable at 95 than my F150 does.

The only vehicle I have ever felt stable at that speed and higher was my CBR600RR. I used to set my throttle lock on 95 and do a trip from VA to PA every few months. Had it at 150 ONE time after that I never went above 100 again. Used to pass cops ALL the time and they would never give two ****s if I was on the interstate.. back roads and in town are a different story. However I will say I never ride reckless anymore it's not worth it. I like taking corners on windy roads at a moderate speed now and none of the death ride crap I did when I first got it. After I almost got t-boned by a f-250 that ran a red light my entire attitude changed and I started to ride with my safety in mind.

Haha I never go above 70. The ONLY time I go above 65 is to get around some idiot on Central VA's infamous I-95. It's amazing how good you can get your mileage if you keep it stuck to 65, hell I would stick to 55 if I wouldn't get run the hell over. 55 has been proven to be the sweet spot in fuel consumption.
