First thing off top of my head is I'd check to make sure they secure in their housings, does it only happen when driving or parked too? Could be if a lil loose. At least, just a first impression. :-)

Wow, my first thought is demonic possession! If I were you I would post this in the 87-96 section it seems to get more traffic. I would take a look at a loose ground cause it effects both lamps.

Check the light switch out. my 83 had a bad switch and would start to blink on and off after about an hour. Fixed this by using a headlight relay kit. The amperage that goes through the stock switch can cause the breaker to flip. Since these use self resetting breakers it will trip and then reset and trip again. This is caused by corrosion on the terminal increasing the load going through the switch. Clean the terminals and use a relay system to cut down on the amperage going though the switch it will lesson the voltage drop resulting in brighter headlights as a side effect.

Check the high beam switch, which should be on the floor. My headlights flicker because of that switch. When they do flicker I stomp the switch and it stops.
