Default Touchscreen to stream video?

Hey guys,
Has anyone figured out a way to stream video on the touchscreen?
'21 Powerboost XLT with the 12" screen.
I'd really like to use the screen for streaming video from an iPhone when we camp in the truck.

The MMB is a GREAT device. Used it on my Explorer ST that my 150 replaced. I have not tried plugging it into Sync 4 to see how it behaves yet. I used it mainly for Wireless CarPlay which Sync 4 has already. But I need to give it a try.

It really looks great - Since you've been using it, can you confirm it will stream a video from my phone onto the truck's touchscreen?

The MMB when in Media mode, not CarPlay doesn't work quite that way. It is running full android 9. You load the apps. YouTube and Netflix are the 2 I used successfully many times. You connect it to the builtin vehicle hotspot or your phone, and stream away. You can also load movies on a flash drive and plug them in to the USB on the MMB.

I really appreciate the info!
If I need to make a thumb drive with a couple movies or whatever on it so when we're getting in for the night and want to relax or say the weather is bad and we want to hole up, that would be awesome. Ideally I'd like to be able to connect my iPhone to the MMB and then play movies I have in my iTunes account. I'd also potentially use it for a streaming service assuming we're in a spot with a strong enough cell signal.

Or buy an ipad. We were looking at in car video options for my wife's car and ultimately decided to just purchase 2 ipads. Kids can now do more than just watch 1 movie together, and it was a lot cheaper. You can get a refurb ipad for less than the MMB.

Recommend one for you here, it takes over the screen and loads up the android 11. Connecting to your hotspot and you are able to watch videos on any Streaming Media.

The iPad or tablet idea is the way to go.

far more versatile.
