I’ve had mines for months now and I works perfectly. Carlinkit Tbox Plus with an Android 12.0 system and 8+128G memory.

I wanted to follow up on this conversation - I ended up going with a MagicBox 2.0 and have been learning how to use it. The unit itself works OK (it's kind of frustrating in navigating the menus, can't get it to mirror my phone, and it's slow), however my PB just picked up the latest update to the Sync4 which enabled fullscreen mode - I was really excited to see if that would allow the video to be played full screen - but alas, at least not yet. It is nice that the side menu is gone now though, since that was VERY distracting. I wish Ford would get with the program and make it possible to just stream videos through CarPlay - the screen they put in the truck is actually pretty decent with good picture quality etc. It's getting close but still not quite there yet.

If you go into the MagicBox 2.0 settings and update it while connected to the internet it will allow you to use full screen. I have the same one and it works great if anyone is looking to get one I have a coupon code that saves you close to $50 - MARIO30599

I bought a Naviks HDMI interface a while back, but haven't had the time to install it. It's pricier than the magicbox, but allows you to intergrate various devices to be viewed into the touchcreen either HDMI or coaxial connections. This was, there is no lag or audio/video quality issues. My plan is to connect my phone to it via HDMI for video/audio intergration with the truck, and also to add a wireless camera to mount behind my boat when I am towing so I can see what is behind me without having to add a bulky screen to the dashboard.

I got the chance today to update the software and THANK YOU again for posting! It really cleaned up the operation of the unit, made it work faster and smoother and yep- now it uses the entire screen. I'm very happy with it now and looking forward to some upcoming camping trips with the truck!

I liked your review. Is there a more current product you would suggest for streaming? For a beginner?
