I have a 2023 and I believe that it lasts for 3 years. With that said I don’t use it. I prefer google maps. It is a lot more accurate than what we get from ford. I work at an engineering company and will tell you most of the engineers I work with use Waze just like I use google. Therefore I wouldn’t sweat it as others have said above you have better options that will be shown on your trucks screen for free

Isn't Waze an app that's available in these trucks? I remember it being mentioned in one of Ford's infomercials.

Waze is an app that can play through your truck's Apple Car Play screen, just like Spotify, Google Maps, etc.

Oh, and BTW to the OP (if he's even still here) and others, the whole industry is going to subscription based features. Just Google "BMW heated seats monthly subscription". I mean, if we really want to get indignant over stuff, and start swearing off car brands, we ought to be aware of where things are headed...

Some people don’t read their window sticker. Whether it’s three years or 90 days is written right on the window sticker.
After that, it’s Google/Waze or pay a subscription to Ford.

What do they say about making your own bed?

To be fair, reading it on the sticker is pointless once you realize how much better Google maps are anyway.

Just use android auto with Waze. Its 1000 times better than the Stync interface.
